A French Surfing Federation-certified school running since 1997, we offer <strong>surf lessons in Biarritz<\/strong> for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced surfers, led by state-certified instructors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The C\u00f4te des Basques is an ideal place to learn: its long sandy beach offers a variety of waves, so everyone finds a level that suits them, in a stunning setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Group surf lessons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our most popular way to discover surfing. Each lesson brings together a maximum of <strong>8 people<\/strong> per instructor, for close, personal guidance. For <strong>1.5 hours<\/strong>, your instructor stays in the water with you: guiding, advising and supporting you wave after wave. Board and wetsuit are included. It&rsquo;s the best way to feel your first rides safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Private surf lessons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For faster progress and tailored coaching, choose a <strong>private lesson<\/strong> (1 to 4 people). The instructor adapts the entire session to your level, fitness and the day&rsquo;s conditions. Ideal if you want to progress quickly, work on specific techniques, or simply learn in a small group with friends or family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How a lesson works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We focus on <strong>time in the water<\/strong>. After a warm-up and a safety briefing on the beach, you head into the water with your instructor, who stays by your side to position you, launch you and correct you in real time. Every participant gets personal coaching, a skills assessment and a better understanding of the ocean. Our goal: to make you <strong>independent in the water<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equipment &amp; safety<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All equipment is provided. You&rsquo;ll be fitted with a <strong>wetsuit<\/strong> suited to the season (the school is open from April to December) and a <strong>foam board<\/strong> that makes it easier to find your balance and confidence when starting out. Your instructor then adapts your board to your level and the day&rsquo;s waves. Our instructors hold the French State Diploma in surfing (<strong>BEES<\/strong>) and lifeguard certification (BNSSA): you surf safely, in expert hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prices<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Group surf lessons start at <strong>\u20ac45<\/strong> in low season (\u20ac50 in high season), equipment included. Private lessons start at <strong>\u20ac100<\/strong> (\u20ac150 in high season) for one person, with group rates available. No prior surfing experience is required to start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What age can start?<\/strong> Children aged 5-9 are welcome in our \u00ab\u00a0Jardin de Vagues\u00a0\u00bb programme in July and August. Regular lessons and courses are suited to teenagers and adults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What should I bring?<\/strong> A swimsuit (to wear under the wetsuit), a towel and sunscreen. Everything else (board, wetsuit) is provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When do lessons take place?<\/strong> Times depend on the tides and conditions, and are confirmed when you book.
